Meet us at Snug Harbor Marina on Chincoteague Island and get ready for your kayaking adventure. Get set up with a kayak, canoe or SUP ( of your choice), get lifejackets and some guidance from our knowledgeable guide and go to explore the islands by water at your own pace.
We will gladly give you advice where are the best places to go to and where all the wildlife likes to hang out. From our marina it is a very short paddle to the spots where the wild Chincoteague ponies love to hang out, where some of the most unique local birds nest and where our beautiful Assateague lighthouse is located. You can do it all on your own at your own pace.
There is also a “secret private beach” you can paddle to! Just ask us and we will tell you all about it :)

Paddle along the waterways of Chincoteague and Assateague, Head to remote areas of the National Refuge to see the beautiful lighthouse from the water and get a chance of pony watching and bird watching. Get up close and personal with all the wildlife Assateague Island and the Wildlife Refuge has to offer.
