What you can expect

  • Start your day with a visit to Bua Tong Waterfall in Nam Phu Chet Si National Park. Climb the unique limestone waterfall, known as the “Sticky Waterfall,” thanks to its mineral-rich rocks that prevent algae growth. Explore nature trails and visit the clear crystal waters of Nam Phu Chet Si (Seven-Color Spring).

Next, head to Wat Den Sa Lee Sri Mueang Khen, one of Mae Taeng's most prominent temples. Admire the exquisite Lanna architecture featuring dark teakwood sanctuaries and black pagodas accented with detailed gold leaf. Pay respects at the 12 Pagodas representing the 12 Chinese Zodiac signs for good fortune.

Continue to Dantewada, a scenic attraction designed as a mystical fantasy forest. Capture photos at scenic backdrop spots, take a stroll, and soak in the fresh atmosphere.

We ended the day at Cafe Elephant, a cozy local cafe in Mae Taeng, to relax before heading back to Chiang Mai.
