Take in Chiang Mai’s history and culture on a half-day tour through Doi Suthep and a Hmong hill tribe village. Wat Phra That Doi Suthep , which is located 16 Km’s from the city and 3,500 feet (1,066 meters) above sea level, is one of northern Thailand’s most sacred and prominent temples.

You can’t miss the stunning panoramic view of Chiangmai and beyond from the cool viewpoint at the front of the temple as well as the temple itself.

In Hmong village, you will explore a picturesque hill tribe village set in an attractive hillside spot.

Visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, one of Chiang Mai’s most revered and iconic temples. A popular Thai saying goes, “If you haven’t seen Doi Suthep, you haven’t been to Chiang Mai.” The saying reflects the temple’s importance as one of the city’s most beloved cultural and spiritual landmarks. Take the cable car up to the temple. At the top, admire the magnificent Lanna-style golden pagoda, beautifully decorated with engraved gold plates and flanked by four ornamental umbrellas. The trip is also worth it for the stunning views alone. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Chiang Mai city and the surrounding countryside from the mountain at approximately 3,520 feet (1,056 meters) above sea level.
