Begin your journey at Kuanzhai Alleys, where history meets modernity. Enter via Wide Alley and admire the relief carvings at No. 19 Demen Renli, a classic Western Sichuan courtyard gate. Wander into Narrow Alley for modern Chengdu vibes: relax in a bamboo chair at Sanlian Taofen Bookstore with an English copy of 《Three Cities》, or sip coffee at %Arabica while admiring the contrast of blue brick walls. Send postcards at the Panda Post Office in the alley.
