Overview

  • Most city activities are about the sights; this one is about the people you play with. Work together on a 2.5-hour outdoor spy mission through Champaign, solving clues and completing challenges across four locations. Designed for private teams of 1 to 8 players, this self-guided experience combines sightseeing, teamwork, and problem-solving while letting you explore the city at your own pace. Whether you're visiting with friends, family, coworkers, or celebrating a special occasion, you'll discover a different side of Champaign through a fun and interactive mission. Larger groups can participate simultaneously as multiple private teams.

Activity itinerary

Act natural. You are just a few people meeting at Beardsley Park in Champaign. Definitely not spies. In plain terms: a team spy adventure on foot, with the missions on your phones. The sights are nice. The real entertainment is your team: the huddled debates, the plans that almost work, and the one person who takes it far too seriously. The missions are only half the game. The other half is watching each other, because somewhere along the way comes a mysterious twist. Expect 2.5 km, 4 stops and about 2.5 hours, at whatever pace your team likes. It is a game on your phones, not a guided tour, with nothing to download. You go home with photographic evidence, several new in-jokes, and a firm group agreement that none of you were ever spies. Who it's for: friends, couples and families with teens; and private groups, from bachelor and bachelorette parties to work teams and active over-55s. Note: book any day as a private team of 1 to 8. Bigger groups play as several private teams.
