Have a transformative experience on Cerro Provincia, the most iconic urban-mountain challenge in Santiago! This trail running tour immerses you in the Andean foothills, connecting you with wild nature just 1 hour from the city center.
Order of the Experience
Start in San Carlos de Apoquindo (7-8 AM): I pick you up at your hotel with all the gear ready: trekking poles, hydration backpack, energy snacks, sunscreen, and a GoPro camera for epic photos. We warm up with dynamic stretches while I explain the route, give breathing tips, and set your personalized pace based on your level (beginner-intermediate).
All times are subject to your fitness level.
Ascent at a Good Pace (approx. 2–3 hours): We run on rocky and gravel trails with a 1,700-meter elevation gain, adapted to your fitness level. Landscapes change in the pre-mountain range of the Andes with privileged views of the high mountains; we stop at vantage points for photos and talks about endemic flora and Chilean trail running.
Epic Summit (2,900 meters above sea level, ~12 PM): 360° views of Santiago, Cerro El Plomo, Marmolejo, and San José. We celebrate with a picnic, fruit, and an immersive photo session. A moment of total reflection, pure disconnection.
Descent at a Good Pace (approx. 1.5 hours): We descend using a safe technique; we cool off in creeks.
This challenge is fully tailored to your fitness level. Drop-off at the car with a personal debrief: what you achieved, next challenges.
Wrap-up (2–4 PM): I drop you off at your hotel with an online photo/video gallery.
All inclusive; just bring good shoes and a desire to improve yourself.
This 6-7 hour day requires a basic-intermediate fitness level (brisk walking/jogging), but I'll adapt everything for you.
Turn your trip into a self-discovery experience!
