Upon arrival you will be welcomed by artist Giammarco Antoci in his workshop, a living space where matter and idea meet. Here works in marble, wood, stone and ceramic are created through a process that combines artistic research and experimentation.

You will enter directly into the creative process by participating in a hands-on workshop: you will make a small object from the Popikō line using a special mineral casting mixture. The experience will be led by Giammarco together with Pippo, Popikō's production manager, who will follow the making of the objects and accompany the participants during the working phases.

At the end of the workshop you will be able to choose how to continue the experience. You can reach, by your own means, Marina di Ragusa to visit together with Giammarco the “Monument to the Shoe” and “The Gift,” or immerse yourself in nature along the Irminio River, where the “Pentecontera” and the “Treehouse” are located: installations in which art and landscape dialogue in a direct and unfiltered way.

Those who wish to pick up the object made during the workshop will be able to return to the workshop with the artist; alternatively, it will be possible to receive an object created by Giammarco directly at the end of the visit, with no need to return.
