Starting from the town of Cefalù, on a trekking route we head towards the promontory which has an altitude of 270 meters above sea level and we enter the naturalistic and archaeological park of the Rocca di Cefalù.

The ascent to the Rocca, through a fortified medieval path, offers the visitor many postcard views and culminates in a spectacular panoramic point from which it is possible to appreciate the view of Cefalù over the sea.
The fortress houses several monuments of Byzantine origin, the population in the past centuries took advantage of its position to take refuge from enemy attacks.
