  • Come enjoy a day of fun and learning, including a 3-D printer and two aquariums at the Algarve Life Sciences Center Museum. One aquarium is tropical and the other represents the sub-real environment of the Ria Formosa coastal lagoon, with sensitive seahorses from this very environment.

    Find the area that features Physics, Geology, Food, Meteorology, and Volcanos. Experience the feeling of an earthquake, see a live tornado, find out your weight on other planets, and discover how many calories are in a pizza.

    Learn from several interactive modules about the Ria Formosa and coastal ecosystems, where you'll find a “touch pool” to interact with animals that are usually found in the Ria Formosa intertidal zone.
    Here, you can also discover and understand the animals' life cycle and how they relate to this unique environment.
