The La Mocha via ferrata is located on the peak of the same name, next to the charming village of La Iruela and very close to Cazorla. Easily accessible at both the start and the end, it is a stepped route where sections of vertical climbs alternate with walkable ledges. After the final ascent, the huge 40-meter-long Tibetan bridge awaits us. We'll return to the same starting point by descending along the old Senda de Las Ánimas (Trail of the Souls).
The route is about 560 meters long, which will take us a full morning in total, during which we'll experience the thrill of admiring the beauty of the Nature Park from above. The views of the stunning La Iruela Castle, from when it seems unreachable at the top of the cliff to when we rise high above it, will leave no one unmoved. The route is almost uniquely close to vulture nesting sites, so it's no wonder that these huge scavenger birds fly very close to us, even right beneath our feet!
It is an introductory level of difficulty, suitable for anyone who does not have an extreme fear of heights and who is in basic or moderate physical condition. We provide you with all the necessary equipment, a guide who will accompany you on your adventure, insurance, and an HD video so that you'll never forget the experience.
