Your off-road escapade begins with a pickup from your hotel in Punta Cana. Upon reaching the departure point, your guide will educate you about the safety procedures and how to operate the buggies. Starting from our Macao ranch, we navigate through the isolated lands of northern Punta Cana, bypassing palm trees and plantations against the backdrop of the Eastern Cordillera. These confined, hidden country roads provide a perfect playground for navigating through deep mud puddles we'll encounter repeatedly.

Our first halt is a picturesque rural farm, where you'll be introduced to local products like cocoa, coffee, tobacco, Mamajuana (a Dominican aphrodisiac elixir), and green tea leaves.

Resuming on the rugged trail, our trip leads us to a stunning cave encompassing a natural swimming hole. Dive in, rejuvenate and cleanse in these refreshing subterranean waters. The most extended part of our journey offers the most contrast. From the covert countryside cave, we retrace our muddy trail, then proceed towards the picturesque Macao Beach, where you'll have about 10 minutes to swim, take pictures, or simply relax with the pleasant sea breeze.

The beach serves as the perfect spot to relax and take in the tropical landscape. Feel free to enjoy the turquoise waters and white sands, admiring the surrounding natural splendor. After this short respite, you'll be back on the trail to continue the thrilling adventure.
