Choose to hike either Lion's Head or Table Mountain, the 2 most popular mountains in Cape Town to hike. Select the correct option when making your booking.

Lion's Head Options:

1. Sunrise - Start the hike before dawn while it's still dark. Use the flashlights provided to light your way as you climb up the mountain, reaching the summit in time to watch the sun come up, bathing everything it touches in a golden glow.

2. Sunset - Start a couple of hours before sunset. Reach the summit about an hour before sunset and then drop down to a lower section that is less crowded. Watch as the sun dips below the horizon before making your way back down in the twilight. Flashlights will be provided when required.

Meet your professional mountain guide at the start or choose a convenient pickup from your accommodation. After a quick briefing, you will begin your ascent.

Move at a steady pace, hiking, scrambling, and climbing along a steep trail as you make your way to the summit, 669 meters above sea level.

Once at the top, take in sweeping views of the surrounding landscape, including the city of Cape Town, Table Mountain, the Twelve Apostles, and much more.

Table Mountain Options:
Choose between 2 of the most popular routes up Table Mountain. Hike to the top and take the cable car back down (if open). If the cable car is closed, we will hike back down the direct route.

1. Direct Route (Platteklip Gorge) - A more straightforward, less technical and the most direct route to the top. Ideal for those looking for the most direct way to hike up. Involves hundreds of big rock steps all the way to the top. Less exciting. More crowded. Duration +-2.5 hours

2. Adventurous Route (India Venster) - A more adventurous, rugged & technical route to the top. Ideal for those looking for a more adventurous and thrilling way to hike up. Involves rugged, uneven terrain and some rock scrambling. More exciting. Less crowded. Duration +- 3.5 hrs
