What you can expect
Experience the real Cape Coast—beyond just the castle walls. We begin our journey at Pedu Junction, the heart of the city’s movement. From there, we dive into the 'Amanful' and 'Historic' quarters to see where West African education began at Philip Quaque and where the local royalty still holds court at Emintsimadze Palace. You will walk the same streets as the merchants and soldiers of the 1800s, ending our journey at the ocean's edge. This is a tour for those who want to feel the pulse of the township, guided by a local social entrepreneur who knows every story behind every stone.
To truly understand Cape Coast, you must taste it! After we walk through the annals of history, we will sit down together for a legendary Ghanaian meal. You’ll enjoy our world-famous Jollof Rice paired with perfectly seasoned Chicken or Fish and a side of Kelewele—the spicy, sweet fried plantains that my guests always rave about. It’s the perfect time to relax, discuss the day's discoveries, and experience true Ghanaian hospitality.
