The Xingó Canyon came after the damming of the São Francisco River to build the Xingó Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was inaugurated in 1994. From then on, the perfect combination was created: the sacred waters of one of the most important rivers of the country - the São Francisco - with exuberant and imposing rocky walls.

The tour begins very early, at 06:30 in the morning leaving the hotels towards the pier to embark on the Catamaran King of Cangaço or Delmiro Gouveia. A local guide will lead us to tell you a little bit about the curiosities of the place and introduce us to Pedra do Gavião, Morro dos Macacos, Pedra do Japonês and the impressive Paraíso do Talhado.

After having known the place that “the sertão turned to sea”, the tour ends and we return to the hotel with an estimated arrival time of 19:00.
