Treat yourself to an easy and fun water adventure on the Hérault with this 8 km family route, accessible from 6 years old. The descent is completely independent, at your own pace, amidst unspoiled nature, small beaches for swimming or picnicking, and verdant landscapes that pass by along the water.

The meeting point is at the Canoë Montana base in Agonès (large free parking lot) 15 minutes before the departure time. On site, the team will provide you with the necessary equipment: canoe, paddle, life jacket, helmet, and storage container. You will also find coat checks, restrooms and showers to get ready before launching and freshen up at the drop-off. The route starts directly from the base, with no shuttle at the start.

Once on the water, you'll pass under a suspension bridge before paddling through one of the wildest areas of the river. Take advantage of the possible stops along the descent: swimming, photo breaks, relaxing on the beaches… The finish is at the Vernède dam, the end point of the route.

After the descent, a shuttle (last departure at 6:00 pm) takes you back to the base where your vehicle is waiting. Extend the experience by relaxing on the shaded terrace with a drink; in summer, some on-site offerings (bar/food truck/ice house) may be available depending on the period.
