Day 1:

Start your 6-day adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Cairo. Head to the Pyramids of Giza, the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the last that are still standing. From there, go to the Egyptian Museum to learn about the development of the Egyptian civilization.

After the visit enjoy an Egyptian lunch in a local restaurant before you head to the hotel booked for you.

Afterward, your driver will take you to your hotel in Cairo, where you will be staying for the next 2 nights.

Day 2:

In the morning drive to Alexandria, and upon your arrival explore the area of Kom El-Deka, once an affluent residential area in Greco-Roman times. Continue on to the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.

After the catacombs head to a local restaurant for lunch before going to the Great Library of Alexandria in Alexandria, which was one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world.

Your last stop in Alexandria is the Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15-century defensive fortress by the sea. From here you will be taken back to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 3:

Drive to the airport in the morning and hop on your flight to Luxor. Upon your arrival in Luxor, your driver will be waiting for you outside the airport.

From the airport head to the East Bank to visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. After exploring the temples, enjoy a felucca ride on the river before being dropped off at the cruise ship where you will stay for the next 3 nights.

Day 4:

Wake up early for a hot air balloon ride over Luxor. After landing your guide will be waiting for you to head to the West Bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings. Then move on to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Conclude your day back on the ship with dinner.

Day 5:

After breakfast on board, take a horse-drawn carriage to Edfu. Take a guided visit to the Temple of Horus before having a buffet lunch back on board the cruise ship as you sail to your next destination. In the afternoon, visit the unusual Temple of Kom Ombo and then return to the boat for dinner.

Day 6:

In the early morning, head to one of the most stunning temple complexes in Egypt, Abu Simbel Temples, for a small-group tour. From the tour, your guide will take you back to the cruise ship to pick up your luggage.

You will then be transferred to Aswan Airport to take the flight back to Cairo. Upon your arrival in Cairo, your driver will be waiting for you outside of the airport to return you to your hotel.
