Tomb of the Pharaohs Is a new blockbuster exhibition. Located right in the city centre this experience showcase 11 of the most lavish tombs of Ancient Egypt, recreated in complete detail. Each tomb filled with hieroglyphic wall inscriptions, museum grade replicas and original artefacts from the Pharaohs, their Queens and the Nobles. Visitors will experience the mummified remains of kings, carefully placed within giant granite sarcophagus and intricately carved coffins, and draped with treasures from ancient temples. World-first displays of Queen Nefertari’s gold burial objects and the solid silver accoutrements of King Psusennes I and Sheshong II will be revealed within the attraction. With over 450 display items direct from Egypt, this is a must see exhibition for the whole family and a first of its kind in Australia.
