The Cabra Corral Dam excursion will take you to visit this marvel of modern engineering, which is also surrounded by stunning natural scenery. In the course of the trip, we will visit historical sites relevant to Salta and Argentina, while learning about life in the countryside.

The excursion begins with a pick-up at the hotels in downtown Salta and then we will visit the artificial lake of the Cabra Corral Dam (the largest hydraulic construction in the northwest of Argentina) and then the Peñas Blancas Dam, located in the middle of the impressive natural landscape of the Juramento River Canyon, with crystal clear waters, where different types of adventure sports can be practiced.

Continuing on, we will visit historical places where important events of the Argentine Independence took place, with the heroic participation of the legendary General Güemes and his brave gauchos. In addition, local guides will introduce us to life in the countryside and teach us about regional agricultural production.

The tour ends with the return to the hotels in Salta.
