What you can expect

We can admire the beauty of Wadi Rum also without ropes in lofty heights during the so called Scrambling. Scrambling is a type of hiking that involves steep passages that require the use of your hands and feet. Unlike climbing, you don’t need any special equipment to climb the trails.

I'll be waiting for you at the appointed time. I do not offer a pick-up service from the airport in Aqaba. Taxi rides are available for 35 dinars from Aqaba airport.
Meeting point for my guests with their own car is my headquarters in Disah.
Another meeting point is the tourist center in Wadi Rum Village.
Large luggage can be placed at my headquarters in Disah.

All my tours start at my small desert home in Wadi Rum, not far from the Burdah Rock Bridge and Mushroom Rock. Over tea at my desert home can you see how I live in the desert. You will with some suprised!
Do you know how soap is found in the desert? I'll show you!

Jabal Burdha is a 3.5 km long mountain with a large stone arch - the Burda Arch - which is among the highest stone arches in the world. This climb requires some climbing skills, as several passages have difficulty level 3 and are quite dizzying. Once at the top, the view over the desert is breathtaking. It is possible to walk on the arch itself, which is only 2 or 3 meters wide.

We will climb and hiking together and admire the view. Afterwards we have our lunch together, which I prepare. We stop at the highlights of the WadiRum. There are small rock bridges that you can easily climb, funny big stones and enchanting sand dunes. Petroglyphs and inscriptions illustrate the 12,000-year-old human settlement of the Wadi Rum desert. On the way back we stop for the sunset and enjoy it.

Option overnight with dinner and breakfast:
I have always a place for tours with more than one night. Here I set up a camp with seat mats and cushions. A cozy fire burns in the center. I prepare a typical Bedouin dinner, make tea and after sunset the beautiful starry sky opens up. We sleep here as is customary among Bedouins in the desert and will wake up in the morning to birdsong. Everything else is silent. After a good breakfast we drive back to the tourist information. A night under the stars is a highlight at WadiRum. Here you are closest to the life of the Bedouins.
