What you can expect

On this day trip from Vienna, discover the historical and cultural diversity of Budapest, one of the most beautiful cities along the Danube. The tour begins in the morning right in front of the Vienna State Opera and heads first to Bratislava, the picturesque capital of Slovakia. After about an hour and a half, you’ll arrive in Bratislava, where you can take in the impressive sights during a short photo stop in the Old Town and along the Danube.

The journey then continues to Budapest, the fascinating capital of Hungary. There, you’ll have about two hours of free time to explore the city on your own, enjoy traditional Hungarian specialties, shop for souvenirs, or take a stroll along the Danube promenade.

Afterward, you’ll meet your guide at the InterContinental Budapest Hotel in the heart of the city.

From there, a guided panoramic city tour of Pest begins, during which you’ll discover Budapest’s most significant sights, including the imposing Parliament Building, the Hungarian State Opera House, and the Great Synagogue. After a brief photo stop at Heroes’ Square, you’ll begin the return journey to Vienna. In the evening, your unforgettable day trip ends back at the Vienna State Opera.
