What you can expect

  • Learn about 1,000 years of Hungarian history as you explore the city’s key landmarks. This 3-hour guided tour begins at our Sightseeing office, then takes you toward the Buda side of the Danube, showcasing major riverside attractions.

    Your first stop is the Castle District for a brief walk to its top sights. Visit the Old Town, an ideal viewpoint for stunning panoramas of the city.

    Crossing Elizabeth Bridge to Pest, you’ll pass the famous Central Market Hall and Europe’s largest synagogue before continuing on to City Park.

    Along the way, see Europe’s largest thermal spa and the Budapest Zoo, then stop at Heroes’ Square, home to statues of Hungary’s greatest kings. From here, the tour follows Andrássy Avenue back to downtown Pest, passing the Opera House and St. Stephen’s Basilica.
