  • The Museum is everything a lover of art and history could wish for. It takes you on a journey through history and around the world, beginning with archaeological discoveries from the birth of mankind to the middle ages, the 16th to 18th centuries, culminating with the art nouveau and art deco of the early 20th century. In addition to the vast Belgian and European collections are treasures from civilisations from Asia and America.

The Royal Museum of Art and History is one of the largest Belgian museums. It is located at the Parc du Cinquantenaire in a beautiful classic building. The artefacts are divided into the following groups:

    • The national archeology including prehistory
    • European decorative arts from 10th till 20th century
    • Non-European civilisations like India, Vietnam and China
