What you can expect

Discover the art of real and ethical Belgian chocolate from bean to bar

Go beyond ordinary chocolate workshops and immerse yourself in the authentic world of Belgian chocolate making. Led by certified artisan chocolatiers, officially recognized by the Belgian Federal Government, this is a rare opportunity to discover how exceptional chocolate is truly crafted; from bean to bar.

Unlike most chocolate workshops, where participants simply melt ready-made industrial chocolate, you'll step inside a real bean-to-bar chocolate factory. We are among the very few chocolate makers in Brussels who transform carefully selected cacao beans into exceptional chocolate by mastering every stage of production: roasting, cracking, winnowing, refining, conching and tempering. Chocolate making is our profession, not just our demonstration.

During this immersive 90-minute experience, you'll create your own delicious chocolates: elegant mendiants, silky handmade truffles and a personalized chocolate bar, beautifully packaged to take home.

Your journey begins where every great chocolate starts: at the cacao plantation. Discover how a simple cacao bean becomes a fine chocolate bar and learn why terroir, fermentation and craftsmanship shape every flavor. Taste ingredients that very few people ever experience: fresh cacao pulp with its surprising tropical fruit notes, raw cacao beans, pure cacao mass and several single-origin chocolates that reveal the unique personality of their origins.

More than a workshop, this is an introduction to the fascinating world of ethical chocolate.

We work exclusively with fully traceable cacao, sourced directly from farmers who share our commitment to quality and sustainability. Our cacao is guaranteed free from deforestation, child labor and exploitation, while ensuring fairer incomes for farming communities. Every chocolate tells the story of remarkable farmers, unique terroirs and generations of expertise.

Even better, 30% of the price of your ticket goes directly back to cacao farmers, helping create a fairer and more sustainable chocolate industry.

The workshop takes place in our modern Chocolate Academy in the heart of Brussels and is conducted in English (French and Italian are available upon request at least 5 days before the date of the activity).

Whether you're a chocolate lover, a curious traveler or simply looking for one of Brussels' most authentic experiences, you'll leave with your handmade creations and a completely new appreciation for real Belgian chocolate, the people who grow cacao and the craftsmanship behind every bar.
