- This is a guided road and ferry tour in an air-conditioned bus. It is not a cruise or boat tour.
- Departs Hobart at 7am. Returns approximately 5:00 to 5:30pm.
- Your specific pickup time and location is confirmed after booking. Pickup from locations other than the main Hobart meeting point may be earlier than 7am.
- Bring a small day bag or backpack. Suitcases and large bags cannot be accommodated on the bus.
- Bruny Island is often cooler than Hobart. Bring warm layers and a rain jacket even in summer.
- Wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes.
- Due to safety regulations, children under 5 years old cannot climb the Cape Bruny Lighthouse stairs but can walk around the base inside.
- Bring a reusable water bottle. Water is available on the bus for refills throughout the day.
- Dietary requirements and food allergies must be noted at time of booking. Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options available at lunch. Gluten-free biscuits available at morning tea.
- Children under 5 cannot climb Cape Bruny Lighthouse stairs. They may visit the museum and walk outside the base under adult supervision.
- Contact the operator before booking for infants under 12 months.
- Maximum 20 guests per tour bus.
- Start and finish times are approximate and subject to change.

Take your pick of three viewing options: climb the 279 steps to Truganini Lookout for panoramic views, pause at the mid-level lookout, or stroll along the flat boardwalk to the beach. Marvel at contrasting waters to the east and west, and keep an eye out for local wildlife—this unique habitat is home to burrowing little penguins and migrating short-tailed shearwaters!
