Overview

A special experience in a unique place: a “vertical” wine of “Le Chiuse” winery of Montalcino, our family's winery.
You will taste the youngest wine “Arpaia” which is not yet suitable for aging, the “Rosso di Montalcino” which has a short aging and the “Brunello di Montalcino” with an aging of at least 5 years.
We will offer you typical Tuscan fresh products in the frescoed sitting room, under the 5 meters vaulted ceiling.
In case of good weather, we’ll show you an unforgettable panoramic view upstairs!

Activity itinerary

After the welcome in the frescoed sitting room, we will explain something interesting about the ancient residence and the building "Palazzo Borghesi". We will offer you Tuscan products and you will taste 3 red wines. The first wine to taste is the youngest, "Arpaia", that is not yet suitable for aging. The second wine you will taste is the "Rosso di Montalcino", which has a short aging. The third wine, is one of the best red wine in the world, the "Brunello di Montalcino", with an aging of at least 5 years. Every wine is produce by our family's winery "Le Chiuse" of Montalcino managed by a member of the Biondi Santi family. In case of good weather, we’ll show you an unforgettable panoramic view from the terrace upstairs! Have you ever enjoyed a wine tasting in a medieval building with view?
