What you can expect

  • Meet your expert guide and get ready to fall in love with Bruges, the “Venice of the North” and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its picturesque canals, cobblestone streets and beautifully preserved medieval architecture, Bruges is one of Europe’s most enchanting cities and the perfect place to explore on foot.

Your guide will take you through the heart of the city, bringing its history and culture to life with fascinating stories and local insights. Along the way, discover some of Bruges’ most iconic landmarks, including the romantic Lake of Love, the peaceful Begijnhof, lively Walplein Square, the historic Old St. John’s Hospital, the Church of Our Lady with Michelangelo’s famous Madonna and Child, Gruuthuse Palace, the scenic Dijver Canal, the picturesque Rozenhoedkaai, historic Burg Square, the Basilica of the Holy Blood and the impressive Market Square, dominated by the city’s iconic Belfry.

Throughout the tour, your guide will answer your questions, share local tips and point out hidden gems away from the busiest tourist areas. You’ll also learn more about Belgian culture, local traditions and, of course, the country’s famous beer.

No visit to Bruges is complete without discovering its world-famous chocolate tradition. During the tour, you’ll visit a local chocolate shop to discover some of the specialities of Belgian chocolate and enjoy a small sample.

After the guided walking tour, you can continue your Bruges experience independently by choosing an option that includes a relaxing boat ride through the city’s enchanting canals. Glide beneath medieval bridges and past historic facades and picturesque quaysides, discovering Bruges from a different perspective.

Beer lovers can also choose an option including a tasting of four carefully selected Belgian beers. This experience takes place independently after the walking tour, giving you the opportunity to discover different Belgian beers and their unique flavours and traditions at your own pace.

Choose the option that suits you best: enjoy the guided walking tour with a chocolate stop, add a canal boat ride, include a Belgian beer tasting, or combine several experiences. Please check the selected option for the activities and inclusions available.
