What you can expect

  • We start our trip in the morning toward Rachitele waterfall joining the northern part of Apuseni mountains.
Răchiţele Waterfall, also known as Bride’s Veil Waterfall, is located on Stanciului Valley, in the area of Răchițele village in Mărgău village.
Located at an altitude of about 1000 meters, the waterfall presents a fall of water of around 37 meters in three steps. Due to the deep pots at the top of the waterfall, the water disperses in the form of a wonderful white veil, from where the name of the waterfall comes from.
The waterfall's name is also linked to a legend about a bride who fell from a steep rock where the waterfall is now located, with her veil clinging to the rocks. In the place where the bride fell, it is said that all the wedding guests would have gathered, their tears forming the waterfall.
We continue our journey visiting a spot where the panorama of the Belis Lake opens a beautiful place for the fans of nautic sports.
Finally late in the afternoon we return back in Oradea.
