We will learn where the executioner of Braunschweig lived and what connection he had to the “oldest trade” in the world. Our walk begins at the historic Bäckerklint. You will then learn about the Flohwinkel.

Passing the venerable Martino-Katharineum secondary school with its famous students, we will go through the medieval Altstadtmarkt and the historic Eiermarkt to the Jakob-Kemenate. From there, it is not far to Knochenhauerstraße.

After a short stop, we continue to the picturesque Michaelisviertel, which has its own exciting stories to tell. The tour concludes at the medieval battlement, which tells its own story in a very hidden way.
