In our workshop located in the heart of Bordeaux, come and discover the art of food tasting and food and wine pairings in a friendly and fun atmosphere.
After an introduction to the wines and terroirs of Bordeaux, and the steps of food tasting, our sommelier will introduce you to the 3 main principles for successful food and wine pairing.
During this class, you will taste
- 3 great Bordeaux wines: a dry white, a red, and a sweet wine
- Sturgeon pâté with French caviar
- artisan dried duck breast
- farmhouse blue cheese
Each pairing will be an opportunity to talk to you about the products tasted, their history, and the reasons why we offer you each pairing. We have specially selected local artisanal dishes and fine wines for interesting pairings.
Be amazed by the alchemy that can occur between food and wine. Because beyond the general principles, a good pairing involves a touch of curiosity, even daring, and must allow each element to be enhanced individually while creating harmony.
