The 1-day Sun and Moon Island Tour begins with a pick-up at the hotel in Copacabana at 08:00 Hrs to head to the pier from where we will begin the tour. We will cross Lake Titicaca until we reach the southern part of the Sun Island, where we will visit the archaeological site of Pikokaina (Temple of the Sun). Next we will tour the southern part of the Sun Island and descend the Yumani stairs that date back to the Inca era, at the end of these stairs is the fountain of eternal youth and the Inca garden. Then we will descend to the pier to take the boat and head to Challapampa where we will visit the Chinkana and the Sacred Rock (where the sun star and the founders of the Andean culture were born according to mythological stories). Then we will go back down to the pier to go to the Moon Island where we will visit the archaeological remains of the Temple of the Moon and the house of the Virgins of the Sun. We will board the boat to Copacabana, approximate arrival time 17:00 h. Return to Copacabana, End of our services of the Sun and Moon Island Tour 1 day.
