What you can expect

  • Discover the culture and authentic life of Boa Vista with us in half a day.
On this tour, we want to show you the real life of the locals, the other side that tourism does not reach.
Our first stop is a visit to the goat farm to see how goat farming works. It is an activity that feeds families in the villages and was essential for the survival of the people of Boa Vista before tourism.
We then drive east to the greenest part of the island, where vegetables are grown despite the water shortage.
Later, we will pass through the colorful villages and visit the island's largest lighthouse, Morro Negro, where you will be rewarded with a unique view of the east coast.
The walk up takes about 12 minutes.
Next, we continue to Porto Ferreira beach (shell beach) where there is a free souvenir.
We will then return to the village to taste the goat cheese made by the shepherd and the watermelons harvested by the farmer.
This way, we get to know the island's specialties and support the locals by securing an income for them through this activity.
Finally, we'll drive back to Route 66 and make a short photo stop there.
