To make our experiences authentic, we need to offer you things that are really culturally interesting and that help you understand the ecosystems. This time won't be no exception. I invite you to come with us to explore Lagunas de Chacahua and its main attraction, the “BIOLUMINESCENCE.”

We leave Puerto Escondido at 5:30 pm. If you book with our team, I'll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Escondido, which includes the following areas: La Barra, Punta Zicatela, Brisas de Zicatela, Playa Zicatela, Adoquinado, downtown, and the Rinconada area on Playa Bacocho.

So, we'll drive from Puerto Escondido for about 50 minutes on Federal Highway 200, heading north, until we get to the El Zapotal community. Locals will be waiting for us to show us the bioluminescent effect from a boat. We'll get to enjoy this show, created by phosphorescent organisms in the water, for 40 minutes.

After this evening learning about the lagoon's ecosystem, we'll take you back to your hotel. So, the whole experience lasts 4.5 hours, including travel time.
