We will meet at the Checua Desert office, located in the town center of Nemocón. There we will receive a warm welcome and be given the Colasistencia insurance wristband, which is essential for all our activities. Then, we'll have a full orientation on how to operate the bikes, the gears, the brakes, and everything else needed for a safe and exciting experience.
We begin our adventure by riding 9 km on a dirt road, surrounded by green landscapes and unparalleled tranquility. During the journey, an expert guide will tell us about the history and secrets of the region, making this tour an enriching and unforgettable experience.
Upon arrival at the Checua village, we'll leave our bikes and head down a 7-kilometer trail through a natural labyrinth formed by gullies and estoraques, impressive geological formations that will take us hundreds of years back in time. Here we'll discover stories about mastodons, indigenous communities, and the geological richness of the place.
We return to our “steel steeds” to cover the last 9 km back to the town of Nemocón, once again enjoying the scenery and the cool breeze on our faces.
After the ride, we'll do a stretching session to relax our muscles and then recharge with a delicious typical lunch at one of the best restaurants in Nemocón. This is the perfect time to share anecdotes and relive the best moments of the day. Finally, we return to the Checua office with hearts full of adventure.
