What you can expect
From the Bettmeralp valley station, you can take the aerial tram in comfort to car-free Bettmeralp (6,463 feet above sea level). Bettmeralp is a popular mountain village and an ideal starting point for hikes and excursions.
To get to the Bettmerhorn viewing point, you transfer to the Bettmerhorn cable car in Bettmeralp. The cable car will take you to the Bettmerhorn (8,684 feet above sea level), where one of the most spectacular views of the Great Aletsch Glacier awaits you.

Hike with views of the Aletsch Glacier:
From the Bettmerhorn, various hiking trails offer spectacular views of the Aletsch Glacier, for example, in the direction of Lake Märjelen or the Eggishorn. The Bettmerhorn – Eggishorn – Fiescheralp high-altitude trail is particularly popular.
Luggage transport:

Traveling with a wheelchair:

- On the Bettmeralp: Accessible paths, viewing platforms, restrooms, and e-taxis are available.
- The gondola lift to the Bettmerhorn is wheelchair-accessible.
- The Aletsch Promenade trail between Bettmeralp and Riederalp is paved and has no significant inclines.
