We will start the activity by picking you up at the Port of Montevideo, near the wharf.
Guided tour with a local guide where we will travel around our city in a comfortable and spacious vehicle that will allow us to move around the city quickly and safely, stopping at each point to learn, take photos, and talk about our history and culture. We'll visit the Ciudad Vieja neighborhood with its Plaza Zabala (founder of Montevideo), Plaza Constitución (Metropolitan Cathedral), and its street vendors. The Centro Montevideo neighborhood with its Plaza Independencia and monuments. The main avenue, 18 de Julio, is Montevideo's commercial area, with its stores, galleries, and architecture that make it wonderful. The Panoramic Vantage Point of Montevideo, a place where, from its 22nd floor, we will enjoy a 360-degree view of the city with incredible views of the city and the Rio de la Plata. If our clients wish, we'll take them to taste mate at the oldest bar in downtown Montevideo, and why not accompany it with some delicious “churros”? We'll visit the Congress of Montevideo, home of the Uruguayan Parliament, and the Mercado Agrícola, where our tourists will have about 30 minutes of free time to explore, shop, and perhaps enjoy a craft beer or a delicious coffee. We'll continue to one of the city's most beautiful parks, Batlle y Ordoñez Park, which is home to the legendary Centenario Stadium, the first World Cup stadium and the venue for the 1930 World Cup. Another place we'll visit is Barrio Carrasco, a beautiful neighborhood in Montevideo considered the top neighborhood in Montevideo for living in houses or mansions, as well as an elegant shopping center and delicious Uruguayan meat restaurants. Finally, we'll take a tour along the coast of Montevideo where our tourists will enjoy the beautiful Rambla de Montevideo, with its beaches and neighborhoods such as Carrasco (Montevideo's top neighborhood), Pocitos, and Punta Carretas. We will stop at our MONTEVIDEO sign to photograph our tourists in a prime location in the city with a beautiful view of the beach. We will continue the trip by going along the entire Rambla until we return again to the Port of Montevideo to conclude a sightseeing tour that will surely exceed your expectations.
