Apart from visiting the historical and ancient part of the city, there is the possibility also to have a hiking tour in the surrounding hills. The tour practically starts from the city center by having in this way the possibility to pass by the panoramic famous neighborhoods, Mangalem and Gorica, walking through the 2400 year old bridge of Gorica and then climb the hill. From the top is available a beautiful view of the new and old parts of the city, we can have a small break in top of the hill and then return in Berat in a couple of hours.
