Your journey begins at Coco Happy Farm, a small family-run farm nestled in the peaceful countryside. Enjoy a freshly opened coconut before taking a short guided walk through the 3-hectare farm. Meet friendly farm animals, taste seasonal tropical fruits when available, and learn how coconuts are harvested and processed by local families—an industry that has shaped Ben Tre for generations.

Next, board a traditional wooden boat and cruise along the Ben Tre River toward My Long village. Leave the busy waterways behind as the boat enters increasingly smaller canals lined with beautiful nipa palms, coconut trees, and lush tropical vegetation. This peaceful landscape offers an authentic glimpse into daily life in the Mekong Delta.

When the waterways become too narrow for the larger boat, continue aboard a traditional hand-rowed sampan operated by a local resident. Glide silently through hidden canals while your rower shares this unique environment. Depending on the season, you'll also have the opportunity to taste fresh nipa palm fruit harvested directly from the trees.

Back on land, hop aboard a local electric tuk-tuk for a relaxing ride through quiet village roads surrounded by coconut groves and traditional homes. If time and local availability allow, you may also visit a traditional mat-weaving family to discover one of Ben Tre's oldest handicrafts.

As the afternoon fades, return to the main boat for one of the most magical moments of the experience. Watch the sun set over the river as fishing boats drift by and the Mekong slowly transforms from golden light into peaceful darkness.

After sunset, continue cruising quietly through the riverside landscape as wild fireflies begin to appear among the trees. Because they live in their natural habitat, sightings depend on weather and seasonal conditions, making every evening unique. Return to Coco Happy Farm at around 7:00 PM. Dinner is not included, but guests are welcome to stay and enjoy an optional homemade meal prepared by our family.
