Tickets to the Forbidden City require a real-name reservation 7 days in advance and are easily sold out, so you are advised to book the tour at least 8 days before. Otherwise, international travelers will need to line up at the entrance to buy tickets.
We offer free pick-up within the Third Ring Road of Beijing, beyond which there will be an extra charge, so we suggest you book centrally located downtown hotels. Please get ready at the hotel lobby at least 5 minutes in advance of the pick-up time confirmed with you a day before. No-show is non-refundable.
Please provide the correct passport information for booking the real-name tickets. And make sure to carry the same identification when travelling; otherwise, you will be refused entry by the scenic areas.
Group Size: About 12 people. There are chances that 10% of the tour groups will exceed 12 people but we will make proper arrangements.
Departures are guaranteed with two persons in Mar to Nov and three persons in Dec to Feb.
Since the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, we’ll arrange Summer Palace instead of Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City.

To enter Tiananmen Square quickly, especially during holidays, we suggest you leave your bag in the car and only carry the passport and bottled water with you to go through the no-bag passage rather than waiting in long queues for security check.

Continue to tour the 600-year-old-plus Forbidden City, the world’s largest and most intact imperial palace complex, and home to 24 emperors from 1368 to 1911 AD. Your guide will escort you on a 1.5-hour‘s drive to Mutianyu, the most beautiful section of the Great Wall of China in Beijing. Upon arrival, you will be invited to enjoy a buffet lunch of authentic Chinese dishes with soft drinks. After lunch, avoid the crowds to enjoy the ancient military defense’ grandeur, the charming scenery, and hiking pleasure for at least 2.5 hours. The round-way cable car ride or chairlift and toboggan going up and down are included and you can make your own choice. To relieve your fatigue from the Great Wall hiking, we arrange for you a complimentary tea break for around 30 minutes before getting back. You will experience a Chinese tea ceremony to learn about traditional tea cultures.
