Mutianyu Great Wall

You can see both the restored wall and the wild part of the wall. Along the wall there are many watch towers and some of the towers are available to go inside. taking photos of the wall in different angles. There are options to arrive at the wall from bottom of the hill. Firstly, cable car which can hold 8 person at once, about 6 minutes arrive at the Wall, Wall at the wall, come back same way and cable car done hill. Second option, Chair lift up, waling on the wall, take toboggan done hill. The chair lift is like skiing lift when you sking, during the riding, there are chesnut trees and pine tree trees around. Thirdly, no cable car or Chair lift, just about 30 to 40 minutes walking up to the wall. Sometimes you can see local people's cats laying on the way enjoying sunshine, they are mild and friendly. Helicoptor tour the wall available, too.But with extra cost. There are sovenior shops near the parking lot. There are Chinese local restaurant and fast food restaurant available.

Jingshan Park

This park has a mountain and when you at the top of the mountain, you can have a bird view of the whole Forbidden City. There are 5 pavilions in this mountain. At 2/3 of the mountain towards 4 directions has 4 small pavilions. You can sit down have a rest. and then keep going to the top pavilion, here is the best spot to see Beijing city. To the south, you can have a bird view of the whole Forbidden city and the national theatre is visible, too. To the west, you can see Beihai Park with lakes and a white pagoda. To the north, you can see the drum tower, bell tower, Hutong old Beijing, Olympic tower. To the east, you can see beijing central business district. As you walking down hill, you can join local people's life, they are playing chess, playing musical instrument, square dancing and so on. Nearby the exit, there are sovenier shops , ice cream with paviliion shape or flower shape available, too.

Temple of Heaven

This temple is the of symbol of Bejing tourism. The whole temple is made of wood, but no nails. It is where the emperor come to have cerefial ceremonies during the Summer sostice and Winter Sostice. It is the place for emperor to praying for good harvest. We start from the southern entrance, The first court yard is the circular mount alter which is circled by 2 layers of the wall, first layer in square, the second layer in quaare, The 2 layers of wall represent the universe. The second court yard with an echo wall surrounded. It is the place where they storing sacrafacial offerings and tablets. The third court yart is the main temple where they start the ceremony. And this is the temple that has no nails and there are 2 museums for better understanding of this temple history. Exit at east gate, we will pass by a corridor and local people and tourism an sit down for relaxing, local people are doing exercise nearby, too. Welcome to join the local people's activity.
