An exclusive Belgian craft beer tasting hosted by local beer sommelier Carien in her private tasting room. In each tasting you will taste 4 different Belgian craft beers in 4 different beer styles, with a focus on beer from Brussels.
During the tasting Carien will talk more about beer culture, beer brewing, the beers themselves and about the many breweries in Brussels. Questions about beer are always welcome!
This beer tasting takes approximately 2 hours and consists of 4 different craft beer tastings paired with fingerfood (like cheese/ chocolate.) There is no fixed beer list, each tasting will cover different beer styles and breweries and will have at least 2 beers from the Brussels area.
Not drinking alcohol?
If you or some in your group are not drinking alcohol please let u know if advance.
We can arrange the following alternatives:
- non-alcoholic beers as replacement
- non-alcoholic beers (max 0.5%) as replacement
- soft drink tasting as replacement
Travelling with children?
If you want to come with under age children, please advice us in advance so we can arrange soft drinks for them. From the age of 8 we will arrange for a soft drink tasting so they can join the experience.
For children under 8 we will provide drinks, snacks and some toys if needed. Children will always be under your supervision in the same room. Children do count towards the amount of people you book for.
We will NEVER serve beer or alcohol-free beer to children.
Location is easy to reach by public transport. Metro stop Simonis /Elisabeth (this is the same station) or tramp stop Broustin on tram 9/19. Location is walking distance from the Basilica of Koekelberg with its amazing views over Brussels so ideal to combine with a visit to Hoppiness.
