Geological curiosities of Bavella

Meeting at 6 am or 6.30 am (in the summer or 7.30 am in the winter, even 9 am) or 1pm or 4 pm pm at the pass where the statue of the Virgin stands for a half a day (9.00am for the whole day or the QI gong Hiking) loop facing the sea at the foot of the impressive Bavella needles also called the corsican dolomites, then hike through these old Bavella shepherd houses and a majestic forest of endemic black pines so high that they were used for boat masts … to discover the fauna and flora, local legends, its geological curiosities with secret passages off the trail: the arch of Bavella and optional the promontory or the Calanca Murata and after a little snack in front of a sumptuous panorama we will return to the pass … where everyone can leave or stay to enjoy the places at their ease between a typical local inn or with a picnic taken from their bag. (breakfast or pic nic with local products or lunch/dinner in option after booking)

Other remarks
3 hour hike with a few technical passages that can be avoided but there are still irregular steps and rolling stones: have good shoes and for those who are not used to walking in the mountains, poles are recommended. a great utility
