Come aboard a short cruise down the River Avon, passing all the best sights and taking some time to relax along the way. On sunny days, the cockpit roof will be open to the sun, and on cooler days, the coal fire will keep the saloon toasty warm. As you glide through the water in an authentic and lovingly-restored 1960's cruiser, your skipper will point out key attractions.
Pass the entrance to the Kennet and Avon Canal, which links London with the Bristol Channel, and cruise under the North Parade Bridge. Look out for nesting peregrine falcons at the 19th-century St. John's Church. Marvel at views of Pulteney Bridge, the rushing dam, and the architecture of the city center, including 17th-century Bath Abbey. There, the cruiser will pause to allow time to take in the view.
From Pulteney Bridge, you'll then turn and head back downriver. Pass under the Halfpenny Bridge and see the spot where the old wharves used to stand, the central point of Bath's trading. Tea, coffee, Prosecco, beer, and other beverages can be purchased on board.
