Embark on a 2-day adventure to Sukomade Beach and Merubetiri National Park. Enjoy a guided tour to the beach and see the turtles laying eggs. Spend the night at a homestay and release the baby turtles into the ocean.
Day 1:
Start your journey with a pickup from the Banyuwangi meeting point area. Head to Merubetiri National Park, a journey that takes approximately 3 hours using a trooper Jeep. Arrive at the park and continue tracking to Green Bay Beach to enjoy the beautiful beach with a view of the bay and white sand.
Spend some time swimming and relaxing on the beach. Return to Sukomade Beach using a Jeep, which will take approximately 1-2 hours. Arrive at the beach and check in at the Sukomade homestay.
Rest for a while before tracking and hunting for turtle eggs. Enjoy dinner and prepare for a 1 km tracking to the beach. Gather with the forest ranger and receive a briefing before hunting for turtle eggs.
Return to the inn and rest to prepare for the release of turtles the next day.
Day 2:
Prepare for the release of turtles on the beach. Return to the inn for breakfast and prepare to check out. Check out and head to Banyuwangi city.
If you wish, visit Djawatan (or mini Lord of the Rings). Arrive in the Banyuwangi city area, where the trip ends.
