Start Banyuwangi
•00:00 - 00:30 AM Depart from the Hotel/homestay or Banyuwangi area to Paltuding (starting point of the Ijen hike).
• 01:30 AM Arrive at Paltuding. Briefing from the guide and preparation for the trek.
You will be equipped with a headlamp and gas mask (for safety due to sulfur gas near the crater).
• 02:00 AM Start hiking to the crater with an experienced guide.
• 03:00 AM Reach the summit of Kawah Ijen, enjoy the famous “Blue Flame” phenomenon, visible only at night.
• 05:00 AM Sunrise viewing over the crater lake, observe sulfur mining activities.
• 07:00 AM Descend from the crater.
• 08:30 AM Return to Paltuding and transfer back to the Hotel/homestay Banyuwangi area.
