The amazing private tour discovering the charming beauty of Cambodia gives you a great opportunity to pay a visit to many famous tourist attractions such as Phnom Kulen and Beng Mealea and Banteay Srey. Joining in this tour, you will definitely have unforgettable experiences, admire these magnificent landscapes.
You will be picked up at your hotel at about 8.a. and enjoy a full tour of Cambodia.
Your first stop is at Banteay Srey which is built from pink sandstones that make it very popular and it is also known as the Temple of Women. Banteay Srei is really quite a different experience to many of the other Angkorian temples. Here the demonstration of wealth, power and the veneration of the gods are apparent in detail and intricacy, rather than in the sense of enormity and gravitas of Angkor Wat or Bayon. It provides an interesting counterpoint for those willing to go a little bit further in their journey of understanding and experiencing the Kingdom of Angkor.
Next, you will visit Phnom Kulen which is a magnificent mountain range in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia as well as a distant chain of petit mountain plateaux of moderate height located to the south of the Dângrêk Mountains. Coming to Phnom Kulen, you can see the Elephant pond, the towering waterfall together with 56 Angkorian temples built with bricks and volcanic stones.
In the afternoon, you will explore the Beng Mealea, which is a 900-year old and was one of the Khmer Empire’s largest temples, but unlike Angkor Wat, it is mostly unrestored. The jungle is devouring the ruins, tree roots and twisted vines taking over what were once its towers, courtyards, and chambers.
You will feel like explorers discovering a lost world as you clamber and crawl over piles of moss-covered rubble and sprawling roots, occasionally coming across an intricate carving of Hindu or Buddhist motifs in the sandstone blocks, gems amongst the debris.
Finally, you will go back to your hotel at 6.00pm.
