Our first destination is KR market one of the busiest and most famous markets in Bangalore. It is named after Krishna Rajendra Wodeyar, a former ruler of the princely state of Mysore. It is in fact the first locality in the whole of Asia to get electricity and considered to be one of the biggest flower markets in Asia!
The market which is primarily a wholesale bazaar, is a riot of sounds, scents and colours sprawling over 47,000 sq m. Retailers, push-cart vendors, hoteliers and householders thronged the market to get fresh produce.
