The tour starts from Bandung at 6:00 AM to avoid traffic and reach the tea plantation in Puncak, Bogor, while the air is still fresh and cool.

The expanse of tea plantation is the main view at Puncak Bogor, where the area of the tea garden is around 2,551 hectares and even there is a tea factory as well.
If the factory is operating and time permits, you can visit it and see how tea leaves are processed into bulk tea or tea bags.

This tea plantation is one of the tea plantations owned by PT. Nusantara VIII Plantation (PTPN VIII), and can produce 28 tons of wet tea and 6 tons of dry tea every day. Explore the tea plantation on a tea walk or take a horse ride when local providers offer one. Visit in the morning to enjoy the beautiful scenery and cool air.

After enjoying the tea plantation, continue to Bogor Botanical Garden. Founded in 1817, it is located in central Bogor beside the Bogor Presidential Palace complex. The area reaches 87 hectares and has 15,000 types of tree and plant collections. Bogor's geographical location which experiences rain almost every day even in the dry season makes this garden a profitable location for tropical crop cultivation.
