The experience begins with a meeting with Alain, the winemaker of Domaine Ray-Jane, a family estate founded in 1288 in the heart of the Bandol appellation. You will discover the history of the estate and the particularities of this unique Provençal terroir between the sea and the hills. The visit continues with a tour of the cellar and the ageing cellar, where Alain will explain the stages of winemaking and ageing of Bandol wines, as well as the role of the appellation's emblematic grape variety: Mourvèdre. You will also discover the estate's museum, one of the largest ecomuseums in Europe dedicated to the vine and wine, which brings together more than 30,000 tools and ancient objects related to the work of the vine and the history of wine. The experience ends with a convivial tasting of several wines from the estate.
