What you can expect
This exciting experience lets you explore two distinct snorkeling locations: Blue Lagoon Bay and Tanjung Jepun, each offering its own unique charm and marine biodiversity. The first snorkeling spot is the iconic Blue Lagoon Bay, a small, calm, and protected cove known for its crystal-clear waters and colorful coral reefs. As you snorkel just a few meters from the shore or boat, you’ll encounter a variety of tropical marine life; Clownfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, Moray eels,Sea turtles (occasionally spotted), Staghorn and brain corals. The reef here is shallow, making it ideal for beginners, families, and casual snorkelers, while still offering rich diversity for more experienced explorers. The calm waters and excellent visibility provide a relaxed and safe environment to enjoy the vibrant reef system. The second snorkeling location, Tanjung Jepun, is just a short boat ride from Blue Lagoon and offers a different underwater experience. The water is slightly deeper here, and the area is known for its: Artificial reef structures and coral gardens,Colorful schooling fish,Occasional sightings of lionfish, pufferfish, and even cuttlefish, Sandy seabed with scattered coral patches. Tanjung Jepun is a favorite among photographers and marine life enthusiasts due to the variety of species and slightly more adventurous feel. The coral here is spread out with open spaces, making it easy to navigate and explore without strong currents.
After the snorkeling Discover Bali’s Ancient Heritage (if option selected) and Step back in time and experience the authentic charm of Tenganan Village, one of Bali’s oldest and most unique traditional villages. Nestled in East Bali near Candidasa, Tenganan is home to the Bali Aga people descendants of Bali’s original inhabitants who have preserved their customs, rituals, and way of life for centuries. On this cultural tour, you’ll wander through the village’s stone-paved streets lined with traditional Balinese houses, each built in a distinctive layout that reflects their ancient heritage. Friendly locals will welcome you and share stories about their daily life, unique traditions, and strong connection to nature. One of the highlights of Tenganan is its famous double ikat weaving, known locally as Geringsing. This intricate textile art, passed down through generations, is considered sacred and takes years to complete. You’ll have the chance to observe the weavers at work and even purchase authentic handwoven pieces as meaningful souvenirs.
