Begin with an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Bali and head to Mount Batur starting trekking point. Start your trek in a pitch black darkness where the only light source is the flashlights that your guide provided.

Your first 50 minutes of the trek will be quite easy as you just walking on a clear trail with just a little bit of incline. The trail will getting steeper and harder after the halfway point break. It can be considered as climbing stairs at this point. During low season, the hike can be done much more faster than on the peak season as the trail will be much packed with a line of humans which could slow you down.

Once you have reached the summit, wait for the amazing sunrise views, while your guide preparing you the breakfast boxed meals. On a clear day, you can see Mount Agung from the summit which makes for an amazing picture. Enjoy your time and do not forget to snap your beautiful memories up there.

After the sunrise, continue to explore the rest of the caldera and see the black lava field which can be seen from the summit.

After playing around on top of the summit, descend down and follow your guide steps. Watch your steps carefully as most of the terrain near the summit is loose gravel, so you have to be more confident with each step and make sure you wear a proper hiking shoes.

By approximately at 8.30am, you will reach back at the parking lot where your friendly driver is ready to return you back to your accommodation and do not miss the chance for visiting coffee plantation on your way back.
